2Strands Biosciences has secured pre-seed funding from Elev8.vc through its Ignite programme, alongside investments from angel investors. The company has also received a non-dilutive Startup SG Tech Proof-of-Concept Grant from Enterprise Singapore.
The funding will support the near-term expansion of 2Strands’ team and accelerate the development of its ultrasensitive ctDNA technology for minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring. Powered by its proprietary allele-enrichment technology, the platform is designed for simultaneous detection of multiple low frequencies mutations and reducing sequencing read requirements.
