2Strands Biosciences has reached two important milestones in protecting its proprietary technology.
The company’s first patent, covering its allele-enrichment technology, has progressed to Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) stage, supporting the pursuit of patent protection across key global markets. In October 2025, 2Strands also filed a second patent covering additional methods underpinning its technology platform.
Together, these patent applications strengthen the company’s intellectual property portfolio as it continues to develop ultrasensitive ctDNA detection technology for minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring.
