2Strands Biosciences is developing an ultrasensitive circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA ) assay for minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring, powered by its proprietary allele-enrichment technology. By selectively enriching target mutations while depleting non-target alleles, the technology is designed to detect multiple low frequencies mutations and reduce sequencing requirements. This approach aims to balance sensitivity, specificity with cost effectiveness, supporting more informed treatment decisions and better patient outcomes.
